Buttermilk - Western U.S.
Report 48 - Released on November 24, 2020
Western dry buttermilk prices are steady on the short trading week. Some producers are
reporting tighter supplies, as production has been intermittent this season. Demand pushes
have kept the supply/demand ratio somewhat in balance, as well. Ice cream production is,
however, expected to slow down further and some contacts foresee more active drying rates in
the weeks to come. Currently, though, market tones remain steady.
