DOMESTIC MARKET HIGHLIGHTS

The market on fresh whole turkeys is steady. The market on frozen 8-16 lb. hens and 
16-24 lb. toms is steady to weak for December. Fresh demand is moderate to good. 
Frozen 8-16 lb. hen demand is light to moderate, frozen 16-24 lb. toms light. Fresh 
offerings light. Frozen domestic processor offerings of Grade A 8-16 lb. hens light 
at best and 16-24 lb. toms light to moderate. Frozen Grade A basted equivalent 
processor offering prices on a national basis for 8-16 lb. hens are 100.00-120.00 
cents FOB and 16-24 lb. tom offerings noted at 105.00-120.00 cents FOB for current 
deliveries. No truck-lot trading reported. 

The white meat markets and white trims are steady with steady to weak undertones. 
Demand is mostly light. Offerings moderate to moderately heavy. The 4-8 lb. and 8-10 
lb. bone-in breast markets are steady. The market on 10 lb. and heavier institutional 
sized breasts are steady with mixed undertones. Demand fair on consumer sized 
breasts. Offerings light at best. Demand on heavier institutional sized bone-in 
breasts light. Offerings light to moderate. The market on tom bulk parts is steady 
with steady to firm undertones. Demand light to moderate. Offerings of tom 2-joint 
wings and necks light to moderate, balance very light to light. The hen bulk parts 
market is mostly steady. Demand light to moderate. Offerings light at best. The thigh 
meat and mechanically separated turkey (MST) markets are generally steady. Demand and 
offerings light to moderate. Trading slow to moderate.
